Lab Safety Training

**UCSD requires students and staff to take an EH&S Laboratory Safety Class**

All TIES ENG100L students are required to take this class. Your certification must be within the past calendar year. If you cannot make the class date and time listed, you are required to enroll for and attenda separate laboratory safety class held in various places. To enroll and view other available trainings, please refer to this page: Laboratory Safety Principles/IIPP

Select "Browse Catalog"
Under "Environment, Safety and Emergency Management" select "Laboratory and Research Safety"
Expand "Laboratory Safety principles/IIPP" and select the next available session that you can attend
Register for and attend the session
Bring your certificate of completion to Barb Donovan in the IDEAS Center in Jacobs Hall

You must complete an online refresher course every year after taking the in person IIPP training. If your Lab Safety certificate has expired, you may renew your certification through the above link.

Select "Browse Catalog"
Under "Environment, Safety and Emergency Management" select "Laboratory and Research Safety"
Select "Annual Laboratory Hazards Training" which shows up as an eCourse
Complete the training session
Bring your certificate of completion to Barb Donovan in the IDEAS Center in Jacobs Hall
