Image Analysis Team
The Image Analysis team's goal is to develop a web application using
Python to implement an algorithm onto an image so that it may
output a resulting diagnosis requested by the client. What the team
is trying to do is to make a program that can analyze the eye
cresent to determine diseases and optical defects associated with
specific eye images.
GUI Team
The GUI team's goal is to ensure a user-friendly interface in which the
client may seamlessly navigate through the program. For this quarter, the
team will incorporate an agile development and scrum techniques to carry
out tasks and produce user stories, flow of control diagrams, wire frames,
and a mock-up prototype incorporating the Django framework with HTML and CSS
for our client.
Hardware Team
The hardware team's goal is to set the foundation for making a
camera more accessible for our client. Currently, the team is
determining the viability of building the product using a webcam
versus a DSLR camera. This will include creating a mount that will
hold the flash at a specific angle and distance to maximize the red
eye effect.
Subteams
Image Analysis Team
The image analysis team is responsible for developing
an algorithm and implementing through a web application
that will analyze an image and determine if a patient's
eyes have refractive errors.
GUI Team
The GUI team is responsible for creating a user-friendly
interface that integrates the hardware and the image analysis
portions of the project so that the user may efficiently retrieve
the required diagnosis.
Hardware Team
The hardware team’s task is to improve the mobility of a camera,
which takes pictures with the red eye effect at a high frequency.
