Social Innovation Sprint
The Social Innovation Sprint is a quarterly two-day event where UC San Diego faculty guide teams of high school and undergraduate students through the design thinking process to develop solutions to pressing social issues. Key topics covered include empathizing, ideating, prototyping, marketing, and pitching. In Fall 2017, we focused on addressing issues related to homelessness. In upcoming quarters, we will challenge participants of the Social Innovation Sprint to tackle such topics as sustainability, transportation, education, water and food, and healthcare.
