Social Innovation Sprint

We're excited to announce that we've partnered up with Launchpad -- an innovative center that introduces high school students to entrepreneurial thinking by utilizing the resources of the Rady School of Management and UCSD -- to offer a Social Innovation Sprint. We'll be teaching high school and college students design thinking and entrepreneurism on two subsequent Saturdays (October 14 and 21). They will learn the steps of understanding, defining, ideating, prototyping, marketing, segmentation, and pitching to a panel of experts. Our topics this quarter are homelessness and human trafficking. Participants will work in 8 teams comprised of both high school and college students. Those who complete the sprint will earn a UCSD certificate! The cost for undergraduate students to attend is $79 for the 2-day event. Scholarships are available based upon financial need -- send us an email via the CONTACT page on if you'd like to know more.
