Student-Run Free Clinic
[UC San Diego School of Medicine]

The Student-Run Free Clinic team airms to develop an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for the three free clinic sites in San Diego. This will improve continuity of care and efficiency. The system currently has two related modules, one dealing with the medical side and another focusing on the pharmacy. Close attention is being paid to issues of patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliant server requirements.

Quarter Goals

The team is looking to finishing the project this quarter. Extensive testing and Q/A with the client will take place. Fixing any new bugs and bugs from the previous quarter will be the major task for the quarter.
