  • Jacob Hohn

    Jacob Hohn

Jacob graduated this past year with a B.S in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Cognitive Science, and is now working towards completing a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He places a high value on community and service, previously dedicating his time as a Resident Advisor for the Computer Science and Engineering Scholars Community and a member of the Alpha Phi Omega community service fraternity. He found Global TIES in the Winter Quarter of his Senior Year through ENG 100D and joined the Baja del Sol team the following quarter. These two classes were his first exposure to Human Centered Design, and they sparked his passion for the Human-Centered Design process and the importance of empowering communities. He is now serving as a TA for ENG 100D and the K-12 STEAM Education project where he is looking forward to helping students develop these skills and create positive change for all non profit organization partners. In his free time, you can find him singing songs from musicals, learning new artistic skills, and playing (virtual) board games.
